Our Story

Stephanie's love of little recording gadgets started long ago, during a cello lesson with a wonderful teacher who answered "listen to yourself" when asked about the best way to improve.

Soon after that lesson, Stephanie bought the best cassette deck she could find and started listening to herself. The experience was enlightening to say the least. Her teacher was right!

That clunky old cassette deck was heavy and tricky to set up. It was thrilling whenever a recording actually turned out well...

Times have changed. Portable digital audio recorders are a lot smaller, lighter, and easier to use. They sound better too. A lot better. And we have the best selection to choose from!
