Microphone Cable
TecNec is a custom assembler of professional-grade audio and video cables. This specialty microphone cable is designed for recorders or cameras with un-balanced mini jack inputs, like those found in most handheld recorders. The Neutrik XLRF connecter applies mono equally to the stereo left and right channels in the molded right angle 1/8" plug. The cable and connectors are lightweight but strong for broadcast applications. Capacitor coupling reduces distortion.
This cable addresses problems caused by the use of heavy cables with devices that have 1/8" microphone input jacks. Over time, the weight of heavy cables bends the 1/8" microphone input jack terminals, causing the plug to make an intermittent connection. As a result, touching the microphone cable or connector causes audio noise (cracks and pops). To help prevent accidental stress on the mini jack connection, these cables include a Velcro Rip-Tie fastener that allows the user to secure the mic cable to a tripod or other secure point.Availability: In stock
